Plug-Ins for the Snapt Framework
Snapt provides many plug-ins, or Snapt-Ins, for the Snapt Framework. As the saying goes “It’s all about the details.” Open source is so popular because of its functionality and customisable flexibility. Snapt stays true to this philosophy, whilst giving you a user interface that simplifies the process of customising your specific solution. Our Snapt-Ins introduce smaller, specific features to the UI, improving the unique functionality that you require, whilst maintaining the uniform, easy to use interface.
We offer a large amount of Snapt-Ins free of charge, allowing you to customize your Snapt installation for optimal performance on your systems. From API integration with SMS providers to DynDNS updates and a free backup Snapt-In, there is a full repository of Snapt-Ins waiting to make your Snapt experience even more effective and efficient. If you intend to purchase Snapt or take the 30 Day Free Trial, ensure that you make full use of the Snapt-In repository.
Snapt Backup provides an automated and manual backup solution for your entire Snapt installation. You can schedule backups to be taken on disk and/or emailed to you. With a backup file you can restore everything to a fresh copy of Snapt – even the serial number and license! Best of all, Snapt Backup is provided completely free!
As you know, we provide top quality support for all our products as well as the FOSS that drives them. Snapt Support will allow you to take a “snapshot” of your system which we can then analyze, ensuring we can deliver quick and accurate support.
Snapt Cron is a powerful yet quick to use frontend for automated tasks on Linux and Unix (cron). It allows you to schedule tasks as you would using crontab, through a graphical interface. However, it also adds the ability to have them be temporary tasks – for example a once off reboot at 9pm tonight. Another feature we’ve introduced is a load limit – you can specify a limit on the systems load averages which will stop the task from running, meaning your high load backup will wait for your server to quieten down!
DynDNS is a dynamic dns service which a lot of people use today, the DynDNS plugin allows you to configure this through Snapt and have Snapt manage the updates of your DNS address automatically. It also doesn’t require anything to be installed on your system, and works entirely through the Snapt framework!
Twilio API integration allows you to configure a list of numbers to SMS whenever a notice is generated. This allows you to respond to important events immediately, with accurate information!
